The summer festival season is on its way, so there’s no better time to stock up on some festival fashion staples. There aren’t many rules when it comes to festival fashion – just think fun and comfort. Here are a few outfit suggestions that will suit a variety of figures and tastes – from girly girls to rock chicks.

Festival Looks - Women's Fashion

1.Rock chick
Pants are great if the weather isn’t as warm as you hoped, and less revealing if you are lounging around on the grass. These loose fitting Harem pants from Lola Vs Harper can be dressed up or down, based on your choice of footwear or accessories. A loose white t-shirt or singlet top like this Rip Curl Dakota Cami with flat sandals or these low wedges from Novo Shoes give this outfit a tick of approval for comfort.  A statement necklace such as Bellucci Collection’s Tiger Pendent also adds a unique twist.

2. Festival florals
Floral prints feel fresh and feminine at a festival. The Shanti Butterfly Sunset Boulevard Dress features a gorgeous abstract floral print on a light-weight fabric. The muted neutral tones work beautifully with tan leather and bronze or gold accessories, such as Bellucci’s chunky faceted necklace and Kobe Husk’s La Main Sandal in burnt orange. A stylish hat for keeping off the hot summer sun is also an essential festival accessory. Dent’s trilby hat has been feminised with a cute coral bow and is irresistibly adorable.

3. Magic Maxi
Maxi dresses hide a multitude of sins, such as a pre-summer body i.e. hairy legs and a non-existent tan. The Tamborine Maxi Dress features a beautiful bold print in a variety of colours that make it easy to accessorise. This multi-stranded necklace from Bellucci Collection tones beautifully with all the colours and these beaded sandals from Betts give the outfit a relaxed boho feel.

4. Tribal twist

<Wish’s striking Aztec skirt can be kept simple with white accessories or given an edge with on-trend colours such as this swing tank from Pink Stitch in chartreuse and these Ibiza sandals from Lilya. This cute anchor necklace from Bellucci puts a fun nautical spin on the outfit.

5. Daisy Duke denim

No festival would be complete without a pair of cut-off denim shorts (Daisy Dukes) layered over a swimsuit. This outfit combo is great for festivals in scorching summer heat, but can easily be layered with tops such as Living Doll’s Brigitte B. Bolero if the weather turns. The grey and white combo of this Bam Bam Eye Of The Tiger swimsuit can be glammed up with the addition of Ipanema Sandalia jeweled sandals from Novo Shoes, mesh chain necklace from Bellucci and a wide-brim floppy hat.

Hopefully these five fun outfits have inspired you to jump online and book tickets for your next festival adventure. But even if you don’t make it to a festival this year, these are also great pieces to see you through the summer months ahead.
