The swept side-pony

If you’ve got long hair, this style is perfect for showing it off in a way that’s both pretty and professional. Simply use a GHD tail comb to create a deep side part on one side of your head. Next, sweep the lengths of your hair into a side ponytail, securing it just under your ear with a clear hair elastic such as Scunchi Grooming Clear Polybands just under your ear and you’ll be ready to go! If you’ve got a fringe or layers that frame your face, you can also use your fingers to fashion a sweeping side fringe that falls across your face. Don’t have long hair? Create this style using a Lady Jayne hair extension. Watch the tutorial right here

The ‘Carrie’ bun

This chic, oversized ballerina-style bun was made famous by New York’s most famous columnist, Carrie Bradshaw – not only for it’s manicured exterior, but also for its ability to make you feel groomed and girly at the same time. To recreate the look, simply scoop your hair into a high ponytail on the crown of your head and secure. Using a donut, like the Scunci Bun Maker, simply push your hair through the middle and shape, mould and tuck your hair around the outside and secure as you go with bobby pins, such as Lady Jayne Contoured Bobby Pins.

The boho braid

Want to wear your hair out but keep it off your face so you can work? No problem – just fake it ‘til you make it! Using a little gel, try Fudge Urban 24hr Coconut Rush Power Gel, simply slick back the front of your strands. Next, slip over your head a Lady Jayne Hair Extension Plaited Headband so that it sits across your crown. Choose one in the same colour as your hair to give the illusion of a chic braid that’s made from your own strands. Voila, your hair is instantly off your face without needing to put any of it up.
