We have featured the luscious and sexy SJ Lingerie here on Makeup Files before – their re-launch 2014 winter range and their 2014 curvalicious range were very well received by you, our audience. So I was excited to see two new capsule collections released in time for Christmas and the New Year.
Here on Makeup Files we will always showcase homegrown fashion. A new Australian lingerie collection is exciting because we have too few lingerie designers here. These two capsule collections, BANG BANG and COERULEA, are handmade in Australia by SJ Lingerie Creative Director and lingerie connoisseur, Katie Rackley. They represent the first collections she has overseen from start to finish since SJ Lingerie was relaunched in June 2014.
I feel there is now a distinct point of view from the new collections. SJ Lingerie is for the woman who is beautiful but strong, appreciates luxury, yet is a little left of field.
Using only the finest European laces, SJ Lingerie ensures fit and comfort making their lingerie a luxurious second skin for women. BANG BANG is an Australian lingerie collection that blurs the line between underwear and outwear. A provocatively beautiful coterie of intimate separates, bodysuits and sheer dresses, BANG BANG is made from light as air silk chiffons and intricate European lace.
The delicate teal blue lace featured on the COERULEA collection was sourced from a small lace mill in the North of France. Due to the limited quantity of the lace, only a few collection pieces were made. COERULEA consists of a sheet triangle bralette and matching briefs which are accented by deep blue velvet trims. A sheer silk night dress completes the Australian lingerie collection.
Now available at SJ Lingerie. They are limited edition so drop not-so-subtle hints about being gifted something fabulous from the collection…or buy it yourself; you deserve it.
So which pieces did you like the most? If you have been dropping hints, which set are hoping for? Would you like to see SJ Lingerie in your drawer soon?
